The Thread ID Kit puts the caliper, thread gauge, angle gauge and steel ruler in one case — exactly the four numbers this app asks for, nothing else to hunt for in the workshop. Add your own logo and hand it to your customers: they measure the fitting on site, open the app, and get your brand on both the tool and the screen.
| Flank angle & Pitch / TPI | Thread gauge — one gauge covers DIN Metric / BSP, the other covers JIC / UNO / ORFS / NPT. Each leaf reads the thread form (flank angle: 60° Metric / UN / NPT, 55° BSP / JIS) and the pitch / TPI — fan the leaves across the thread until the teeth drop in cleanly, then read the value off the blade. |
| Seat / cone angle | Angle gauge — seat the gauge on the fitting's flare / cone and read the angle that drops in with no gap: 45° (SAE flare), 37° (JIC flare), plus 30° and 12° for other seat forms. |
| Diameter & length | Caliper & ruler — caliper across the crests for the major diameter (or across the bore for an internal thread); ruler / steel rule for overall length and to confirm whether the thread runs parallel or tapers. |
